Healthcare is frequently evolving. The movements of healthcare are transitioning practices of reaction to prediction. A fundamental component of this change is data analytics. We are more involved on what the data is telling us and how it can drive better decisions. The presentation will cover various roles and responsibilities associated with this movement.

Kyle Bell

Data Developer – Care Transformation Services (CTS) Intermountain Healthcare

Kyle received his B.S. from Utah State University in Management of Information Systems in 2013 along with a minor in French.   He is an active member of AIS (Alliance of Information Systems) at Utah State. He is nationally recognized for creating an interactive instructional training model while representing USU.

Kyle’s primary responsibility is to model and architect data within the Data Warehouse for Intermountain Healthcare’s Data Warehouse and Integration Team. Primary responsibility is to model and organize data to provide a structured system for analytical purposes. Various methods of extracting, translating and loading data are used along with fine tuning code and queries to provide sufficient information for analysts within the organization.

He also assists with the day-to-day operations of the enterprise data warehouse. Kyle and his team has made significant contributions with the account management with the EDW. The processes to obtaining accounts and accesses to data has become more proficient and more guided. Security is more enforced to these standards and procedures and allows for EDW management to be more feasible.

Kyle has over 10+ years of IT experience including data architecture, business intelligence reporting and analytics, account management, security enforcement, customer support, application support and troubleshooting, and system level operational support.
