Dear UHIMA Members,

I hope this message finds you well and energized as we move into a new season of growth and opportunity in health information management.

Earlier this month, I had the privilege of attending the AHIMA 2025 Conference in Minneapolis, and I’m thrilled to share some of the incredible insights and innovations that were showcased. The event brought together top HIM and revenue cycle leaders from across the country to explore how AI, automation, and data intelligence are transforming our field. From autonomous coding and intelligent document processing to cutting-edge CDI and RCM solutions, the conference was a powerful reminder of how rapidly our profession is evolving—and how essential our role is in shaping its future.

As we reflect on these advancements, I want to encourage each of you to get involved with UHIMA. Whether you’re a seasoned professional or just starting out, your voice and talents are needed. We are currently seeking volunteers to join our committees—this is a great way to contribute, connect with peers, and help guide the direction of our organization.

Looking ahead, I’m excited to announce that our Spring Conference will be held on April 30, 2026, at Weber State’s Farmington Station location. Mark your calendars! This will be a fantastic opportunity to network, learn, and celebrate the work we’re doing here in Utah. More details will be shared soon, and we hope to see many of you there.
