Volunteer Opportunities
HIM Careers Jobs
UHIMA Needs You!
The demands in the workforce have exceeded the supply of HIM Professions. A nationwide and statewide challenge has been present to meet these HIM workforce demands.
To address this challenge, UHIMA will be implementing a comprehensive marketing plan designed to recruit high school students into AHIMA-approved associate and bacheloreate programs.
Meeting the workforce challenge in our state requires a strong network of volunteers.
Become a catalyst in promoting the HIM profession by volunteering with your colleagues and other professionals in the community. There are many wonderful opportunities
through which you can utilize your strengths and/or learn new skills while assisting with a variety of tasks. A commitment of numerous hours in a month is not expected.
Even the willingness to volunteer a couple hours throughout the entire year would be advantageous to the HIM profession, your organization, and your community.
